CINTHIA ANE TO COMPETE IN CANSTRUCTION® EVENT BENEFITTING BROWARD FOOD PANTRIES
Local Companies Recognize National Hunger Month Through Team-Building Event
Broward County Florida – On June 5-7, 2015, Cinthia Ane, with Allison James Estates and Homes Elite, will participate in Canstruction®, a unique event, hosted by HOPE Outreach Center, in which teams build large structures out of canned goods, which are later donated to local food pantries.
By summertime, customary donations to the pantry diminish and children no longer have access to free and reduced school meal programs, intensifying the demand at local food pantries. By participating in Canstruction®, Cinthia Ane is giving back to the community and raising awareness of the fact that 1 in 6 Broward County residents suffers from hunger.
“By supporting Canstruction® and HOPE Outreach Center, Cinthia Ane Real Estate and Allison James Estates and Homes Elite, are honored to contribute to helping put a lid on hunger in Broward,” said Cinthia Ane “This is our home, and we believe in helping our neighbors as they’ve helped us.”
Canstruction® will take place at the Westfield Mall (formerly Broward Mall) and will be judged by an esteemed panel of media and community members. We encourage individuals to observe and vote for their favorite structures, located throughout the mall on Saturday, June 6. The event is hosted by HOPE Outreach Center in Davie, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the most vulnerable community members: children, seniors and those in financial crises due to situations such as medical emergencies and lost jobs.

About HOPE Outreach Center, Inc.
HOPE Outreach Center, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501c (3) community organization founded in 1995. The Davie-based center offers an immediate 'hand up' to people in the community who find themselves suddenly unable to make ends meet due to: job loss, disability, health crisis, and/or some other emergency circumstance. By providing emergent financial support, food and other educational and social services, HOPE Outreach Center often serves as the financial and emotional bridge that allows families in crisis to return to self-reliance and independence quickly and comfortably.
The HOPE Outreach Center has a small staff and a large volunteer force, who serve approximately 100 families per week. HOPE Outreach touches the lives of over 6,000 adults and children annually living in our communities. The organization is fueled almost entirely by private contributions (75%) and through the hard-work of a dedicated Board of Directors, staff and more than 150 active volunteers.
Last year alone, the HOPE (an acronym for ‘Helping Other People Everyday) Outreach Center provided 100 tons of food to our neighbors in Broward County. In addition to the HOPE Center’s food pantry, through the last 20 years, HOPE Outreach has also offered local families a variety of programs and services including an after-school enrichment program for children of low income families, elderly companionship and visitation, social services, emergency financial support, as well as assistance in applying for public benefits.
