After graduating from Penn State in 1974, Tom worked as a licensed thoroughbred trainer from 1975-1986, before moving to Hollywood, FL in 1986 and pursuing his passion to become a bloodstock agent. Bloodstock agents are among the most knowledgeable in the industry, able to skillfully advise on purchase and sales, business and marketing, and all aspects of thoroughbred racing and breeding. Throughout the years, Tom has purchased 2011 Horse of the Year Havre de Grace, 2-time Eclipse Award Winner Champion Songbird, champion 2-year-old and multiple Breeders’ Cup Winner Midnight Lute, as well as Battle of Midway, Round Pond, and countless others.
Tom is married to real estate professional Cinthia Ane’ McGreevy, and since becoming a licensed Realtor in 2015 works alongside his wife and her team supporting their equestrian real estate practice. Tom and Cinthia Ane’ have a daughter, Samantha McGreevy, who graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, and is now the Public & Private Sales Facilitator in Lexington, KY for Taylor Made Farms.
Born December 25, 1946 in Waynesburg, PA into a family of 10 children, Tom moved to Moore, SC at the age of 4 and resided in Moore for 10 years before relocating at age 14 to Delta, PA and graduating from Kennard-dal High School 1964. He attended York College for two years before joining the Army in October 1966 and serving in Vietnam from March 1967 to March 1968. After his year of service in Vietnam, Tom re-entered college and graduated from Penn State in 1974 with a degree in animal science.
